Sometimes I think this is the way to go.

Thanks to my friends, the Clarks, for showing me this webpage...I'm hooked now! Anyway, I'm tired of hearing "The statistics show..." when in reality the SCIENCE might not be so convincing. Anyway...

If most of the future (100 years or so out) climate predictions are found to be inaccurate, then in the least, as scientists we would have developed the skill necessary to show the contrary. This would include offering an explanation on the problems and limitations with, by then, an old prediction.

I tend not to think of a person as being “wrong”, but rather having either misinterpreted the information or, more often, not having had access to more robust information. The line between apathy and ignorance, as most lines , is not well defined. With that I think there is something really good to be said of the scientist who came admit they are “wrong” once in awhile.
